I started my working life (way too far back to mention) as an Office Junior and have built up my knowledge of office admin since then. I took a break to become a mum and after several years, found myself a single parent and back on the working scene becoming a Pupil Support Assistant at a primary school so that I could work around my children. Now they’ve grown up and don’t need me (apart from my money and providing a roof over their heads!), I have returned to working full time in the office. I have high standards, morals and work ethics and always give at least 100%. I try to keep myself fit and healthy and love a good old catch up and laugh with friends in my spare time
I was working as civil servant in Hungary for more 13 years in office environment. My duties were checking taxes for companies and individuals. After I moved to Scotland with my family I decided I will try to use my experience in other area. I started my study in Accountancy & Finance and got my BA (Hons) Degree in 2020. I got a great opportunity from Amanda to gain experience, when I started to work at ARH Accountants in May of 2021. Currently I work in our Stonehaven office to help in their local accounting tasks. I am happy to help to our clients, give advices and hope all of them were satisfied so far with my job.
Having completed his Accounting & Finance honours degree during the pandemic, Peter knows the value of adaptability in a world where situations can change rapidly and unexpectedly. As an accounts assistant, Peter aims to provide as much help to clients as he can, all the while doing so with an air of reassurance, professionalism, and warmth
Grant joined the team in January 2021 and quickly got to grips with the wonderful world of bookkeeping. After spending nearly two decades in the hospitality industry, Grant opted for a career change and gained a degree in Accountancy from the University of Dundee in 2020. Grant also trains clients how to use accounting software.
Jenna joined the team in summer 2020 as a school leaver. Jenna is currently AAT Level 3 qualified and is working towards her Level 4 qualification. Her day to day activities consist of bookkeeping, processing VAT returns and providing assistance to both her colleagues and clients on how to use accounting software.
Eloise joined the ARH team back in September 2021 through the kickstart scheme with no prior knowledge of accounts or experience of working within an office, however, despite this she has grown to learn a lot during her time at ARH Accountants.
Eloise started off helping to manage the admin side of ARH Accountants; through writing up letters and sending out emails, inducting new clients and keeping existing clients records up to date, as well as helping to keep on top of the filing. However, during her time with us, she has also migrated into analysing books and records, creating cashbooks, as well as learning how to use Xero to help out with bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Eloise hopes to continue to learn and grow within her position at ARH Accountants.
Louise joined us as a school leaver in 2020 as a payroll/administration apprentice.
As a payroll assistant Louise is responsible for ensuring the completion and submission of weekly, fortnightly ,4-weekly, monthly and quarterly payroll. Louise is also responsible for processing CIS and CIS300 returns due to HMRC on a monthly basis. Louise currently works with a large portfolio of over 150 employers and possesses a vast knowledge of Pension Legislation and how to be compliant with automatic enrolment duties.
Louise is currently studying towards her Payroll Management qualification and will be undertaking further CIPP accredited qualifications in the near future.
After working for a well-known high street bookmaker for 10 years, I decided that it was time for a career change and in 2017 started studying towards my Accountancy & Finance degree, graduating in 2021. I started working for ARH in November 2018 complementing my studies with real accountancy practice, gaining experience in payroll initially, then as part of the Accounts preparation team. I am now the lead of the accounts team in the Dundee office and oversee all aspects of accounts work and payroll duties as well as studying to become a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
I enjoy speaking to and helping all clients old and new and pride myself on delivering an excellent service to them.
Teo has been working with ARH for around 12 years.
He previously lived and worked in Rome where he also gained his bookkeeping qualification. He then studied with AAT to gain his UK qualification.
Teo’s work includes bookkeeping, processing purchases and sales, bank reconciliation and VAT returns etc.
He likes to pay attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Teo has a good Italian sense of humour, likes sport and cooking Italian food.
Elle joined the team in January 2022 as a junior bookkeeper. She has a SCQF Level 6 in Business Administration and has settled in nicely at ARH where she has ambitions to progress.
Elle is a very friendly, outgoing person who already has formed bonds with her clients and looks forward to making many more client relationships in the future.
I am an experienced manager having managed for more years than I would like to admit! Ranging from hospitality as a landlady of a country pub/restaurant in my mid 20’s, to managing a constant stream of young budding professionals and then managing a portfolio of properties. Now, my role is managing a team of number nerds (I say that as a term of endearment – the feeling is mutual).
My passion is customer service, I am a people person. I knew when accepting the position at ARH Accountants that this was the right company for me. Accountancy is a service that involves not only numbers, it is also very much about people, families, their passions and so much more.
